How pricing works

InboxMate pricing has two parts:
  1. Your plan — determined by how many mailboxes you connect, plus team size and features.
  2. AI credits — one currency for all AI work, included monthly with every plan. Top up anytime.
The unit is the run. Putting one email through triage costs a flat 2 credits — no matter how many steps the rule attaches to it. Forwarding, filing, archiving, marking as read, opening a ticket and notifying someone are all covered by that, as are the tool calls the AI makes while it works and reading the text layer of a PDF attachment. Only what genuinely costs us extra is charged on top. Suggestions are free until you approve them. A step waiting in your decisions queue has not run yet, so it has not been billed. Dismiss it and it never costs anything. Setting up rules, connecting mailboxes and adding company knowledge are free.
You can estimate your usage before you buy: take your monthly email volume, double it, and add one credit for each reply you expect the AI to draft.

Plans

The emails per month column is a guide, not a hard limit: it assumes a handful of drafts per hundred emails. What actually counts is credits — a mailbox with lots of AI replies uses more per email than one that mostly sorts and files.

All new signups start with a 14-day Pro trial — no credit card required. You get full access to Pro features during the trial period.

Credits and usage tracking

Monitor your balance from Usage & Billing in the sidebar. The dashboard shows your AI credit balance (used vs. included), storage, and days remaining in the billing cycle.
  • At 80% of your monthly credits you receive a heads-up email.
  • At 100% your agents keep working through a 20% grace buffer — nothing breaks mid-conversation.
  • You can top up in one click: credits are available immediately, the invoice follows with your next billing.
Once the grace buffer is exhausted, AI work pauses until the next billing cycle or a top-up. Nothing is lost — incoming mail waits in your inbox as it did before InboxMate.
